Frequently
Asked
Questions

1. Can I claim my physiotherapy sessions on health insurance?

If you're covered for it, yes you can! Plus, many health funds now also cover Telehealth (online) physiotherapy. If Telehealth is already included in your insurance coverage, then you're in the clear. If not, you may still need a referral from your GP. In the meantime, we suggest holding onto your invoices for future Telehealth insurance claims, and contact your insurer to be sure.

2. I'd like to change or cancel a booking. How can I do this?

You can cancel or reschedule a booking up to 12 hours prior to the appointment start time. This can be done via your email cancellation link, or by emailing [email protected] to cancel or reschedule.

3. Can I train with an injury or medical condition?

Healing happens through movement, but the right kind! If you’re dealing with an injury or medical condition, we recommend booking a physiotherapy session first. That way, we can tailor a treatment plan that keeps you moving safely and helps you get back to feeling your best.

4. Can I book a session if I'm pregnant, or have recently been pregnant?

Most workouts can be modified to suit your specific situation, and we'd love to work with you on a program that you feel comfortable with. We suggest that you book a private session so we can work with you to personalise an exercise plan.

We also suggest you make sure you've got your doctor or midwife's a-ok before engaging in physical activity.

5. Do I need a referral to book a physiotherapy session?

Nope! You can book directly with us. If you’re planning to claim through health insurance, check with your insurer to see if a referral is required.

6. Are your sessions suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. Our sessions are designed for all ages, fitness levels, and abilities. Whether it’s your first time or your hundredth, we’ll make sure you feel welcome and supported.

7. How do the private Reformer Pilates sessions differ from coaching or group classes?

Our Reformer Pilates sessions are private, one-to-one experiences held in our cosy, in-home studio in Marrickville. Each session is tailored to your needs. Whether you’re recovering from injury, building strength, improving posture, or just carving out some "me time" for yourself.

7. What should I bring?

Bring yourself, comfortable workout clothes, and a water bottle. For physiotherapy or coaching sessions, feel free to bring any relevant medical information or plans you’ve been following. For private reformer pilates sessions, also bring grip socks if you have them.

8. What is online physiotherapy?

Online physio (or Telehealth) is physiotherapy done via video platforms like Zoom or Teams, so you can access it from anywhere. It’s just as effective as in-person sessions, with your physio guiding you through exercises, assessing technique, and even helping to optimise your home office setup to reduce pain. It’s convenient, personalised, and perfect if you can't get to us in-person.

8. How do I get started?

It’s easy! Book your first physiotherapy, coaching session, reformer pilates or group class online. Not sure where to begin? Email us at [email protected], and we’ll help you find the perfect fit.
